NATIONAL CADET CORPS (N.C.C)

A Senior Division Company (1/56 UP Senior WingNCC Battalion, Jhansi) of National Cadet Corps (N.C.C.) is also established inthe college since 2007. Under the leadership of Company Commander Lt. Prof. Pankaj Sharma, cadets receive practical training through regular parades. Its objective is to develop unity, discipline, self- confidence and bureaucratic qualities in the students to make them a good citizen as well as to prepare physically and mentally trained youth power for various military forces, Army, CRPF, BSF and Police force etc.

In this program dedicated to patriotism andnational service, the “B” certificate after two years and the “C” certificateafter three years under the Ministry of Defence, Government of India areawarded. Besides giving 10 and 15 extra marks respectively to the above certificate holders for admission in various competitive and professionalcourses like B.Ed., special preference is given in jobs of various government and non-government establishments. Apart from this, various scholarships are also payable to the cadets. Cadets (students) are recruited in this course every year in the month of July/August by NCC Battalion, Jhansi.
